Dennis M. White

Dennis M. White, age 84, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Baptist Health Corbin. He was the son of Edgar and Opal Mullins White, who predeceased him.

Dennis was currently a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church, where he served as a trustee and a member of the Men's Ministry. He loved the Bible study and fellowship of the group who were instrumental in the mission's work of the church. Dennis was a Bible student who spent many hours reading and researching the scriptures. He was a Knox County, Kentucky native and graduated from Lynn Camp High School. Dennis was a Master Plumber by trade for over 50 years and touched many lives with his skill and hard work ethic. His work was once described by the Plumbing Department as "Works of Art". He was truly a craftsman. His skill and organizational abilities were instrumental in the construction of the Lynn Camp Baptist Church building. At Lynn Camp, he also served as a trustee and Sunday school teacher, as well as coached young men's sports. His leadership was influential in the lives of many of the young men who now lead their own families and churches.

He is survived by his wife, Jan Rose White, and their son, Darren (Lora) White, and two beloved grandchildren, Logan and Alaina White. His brother, Don (Angela) White, also survives, as well as many other nieces, nephews, and close family and friends.

Visitation for Dennis M. White will be on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at Poplar Grove Baptist Church, 2322 N. Highway 830, Corbin, Kentucky. His funeral service will take place at 3:00 p.m., with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton and Rev. Johnny Jervis officiating. Burial will follow at Lynn Camp Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky.

Pallbearers are Bruce Rose, Bryan Frederick, Chad Wetherill, Caleb Wetherill, Mike Olsen, Steve Olsen, Arthur Lockaby II, Jordan Lockaby, Toby Trosper, and Layvon Rogers.
