Dennis Jay Davis

Dennis Jay Davis, 65, of Corbin passed away Thursday evening, August 29, 2019 at his home.
Born in Barbourville, KY he was a son of the late Homer and Jessie Raines Davis.  He was also preceded in death by a brother Jimmy Davis and a sister Juanita Davis.
Dennis was retired from CSX Railroad as a track repairmen.  He had been an avid coon hunter for many years. He belonged to the Dorthae Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Davis;  children Randy Davis, Amy and Josh Walters, Laura and Leandra Davis;  four grandchildren: Kaden, Colten, Xylee and Lochlan; siblings: Ruby Ramey, Dwight Davis, Michael Davis, Scotty Davis, Vicky Payne and Connie Wilder; and several nieces and nephews, and other family members.
Visitation for Dennis will begin at 2:00 pm Monday, September 2, at the Dorthae Pentecostal Church.  His funeral service will follow there at 4:00pm with Rev. Billy Evans officiating.
Burial will be in the Mooneyham Cemetery off Adams Road.
