Deloris Brewer Jones

Deloris Brewer Jones, age 84, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026, at St. Joseph Hospital in London, KY.

Born in Corbin, KY, she was the daughter of the late Earl Brewer and Martha Steele Brewer. Deloris was devoted to her faith and enjoyed going to church. She was a hardworking woman who cared deeply for her family and found joy in life’s simple pleasures.

Deloris enjoyed shopping and gardening, especially tending to her flowers. She also loved animals and had a special fondness for her ducks. Her steady spirit, caring heart, and love for those around her will be remembered by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Jones; brothers, Marshall Brewer and Van Brewer; sister, Geneva Proffitt; and daughter, Patricia Jones.

She is survived by her children, Glenda Brewer, Martha Smith (Joe), Margaret Campbell, and Rita Barrett (Johnny); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special grandson, Joshua Jones (Hannah); and many nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 10, 2026, at Lynn Camp Cemetery in Corbin, KY.
