David L. "Cowboy" Miller

David L. Miller, known affectionately to many as "Cowboy," passed from this life on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at St. Joseph Hospital in London, Kentucky,

Born in Greensburg, PA, on October 22, 1944, David lived a spirited life, filled with adventure, laughter, and an unwavering dedication to his family. He became a resident of Corbin, Kentucky, after moving from Pennsylvania to be close to his daughter, Daisy. He became a beloved figure in his community, where he was beloved by family and friends.

David was a US Marine Veteran and had worked as a tree trimmer. He was preceded in death by his son, Richard "Bucky" Miller, and by his parents, David and Ann Miller.

David is survived by his daughters Daisy Perkins and Ellie Miller; grandchildren, Dustin Leab, Joshua Leab (Jordan), Seth West, Stephanie West, and Heather Donelson; several great grandchildren including, Preston Allen Leab, Imma Leab, Lakelee Leab, and Xena Kay; and by his brother, Gary Miller.

Visitation for David "Cowboy" Miller, will be held from 4-5 pm on Monday, July 7, 2025, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where his funeral service will be held at 5 pm with Pastor Casey Hampton officiating.

Burial will follow in the Baker Cemetery in Laurel County, Kentucky.
