Daniel Boone Champion

Daniel Boone Champion, 74, of Corbin, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2010, at the Baptist Regional Medical Center.
Born in McRoberts, Kentucky, he was the son of the late William and Jessie Champion.
He is survived by two brothers, Franklin Dale Champion and wife Dorothy of Garden City, South Carolina and Ronald Champion of Dayton, Ohio; and a sister, Helen Addington of Stanford, KY, as well as many friends who mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, Nov. 13, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating. Burial will be in the Corn Creek Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 12 noon Saturday until the funeral hour at 1:00 pm at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, 607 Master St., Corbin, KY.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to help with the cost of the funeral.
