Clyde Junior Turner

Clyde Junior Turner, 57, of Corbin passed away Thursday evening, December 4, 2014 at his home.
Born in Harlan County, KY, he was a son of Mary Maggard Turner and the late Bethel Turner. He had worked as a coal miner.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Turner; his five children: Joshua Turner (Jennifer), Tina Hall (Adam), Matt Turner, Sammie Davis (Amanda), and Shannin Jenkins (Branden); grandchildren: Cody Hall, Caleb Hall, Maddox Turner, Savanna Davis, Scotty Davis, Breann Jenkins, Ethan, Matt, and Kendra Turner; five brothers: Ruben, Bill, Ed, Charlie, Orville, and Frank Turner; five sisters: Brenda Stephenson, Becky Trosper, Jean Grubb , Drucilla Bolton, and Annalee Turner; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. A sister Norma Jean Turner preceded him in death.
Clyde's visitation will begin at 12 noon Sunday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, with the funeral to follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Danny Smith officiating.
