Cleda Barton

Cleda Barton, 75, of Gray, KY passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Baptist Health Corbin. Born at Hinkle Branch in Knox County, she was a daughter of the late Roosevelt and Omey Gray Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Billy James Barton; a son Timothy Adams; sisters Dorothy Robbins, Geneva Robinson, and Pauline Smith; and brothers Andrew, Noah, Ike, and Raymond Taylor. Cleda is survived by three children: Debbie Allen, Bobby Adams, and Roosevelt Adams; grandchildren Stacie Lynn Adams, Penny Nicole Anderson, and Amber Adams; great grandchildren Jessie Storms, Abigail Byrd, Madison Bruner, and Darrell Bruner; her sister Martha Jane Karr and brother Tommy Taylor; and several nieces and nephews. No services are scheduled at this time. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses.
