Claude David Elliott

Claude David Elliott, age 62, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026, at Baptists Health in Corbin, Kentucky.

Born on November 26, 1963, in Gray, Kentucky, Claude spent his professional life working as a Machine Operator in the manufacturing industry. His work ethic was commendable, and he always believed in giving his best to everything he did. However, work was not all that defined him. A man of many talents, Claude was a skilled carpenter, creating beautiful pieces that were a testament to his patience and attention to detail. His love for westerns was well-known, often drawing parallels between their grit and his own determination.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Elliott and Nevada Wilburn Elliott; a brother, Jerry Elliott, and sister, Leota Elliott.

Claude is survived by his son, David Elliott; stepdaughter, Elizabeth Neely and husband Luke; granddaughter, Allison; sisters, Sharon Elliott, Dianne Davis, Betty Price, and Wilma Nelson; and by a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

His visitation will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2026, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where his funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Gray Cemetery.
