Cherriene Markovetz, 63, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2015, at Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation.
She was born in Whitley County, the daughter of Kenneth and Barbara Sue Tankersley Brashear. She was a U.S. Army veteran and the widow of David Markovetz.
Cherriene is survived by a son, William Nida.
There will be no visitation or funeral service.
