Charles Allen Webb

Charles Allen Webb, age 84, of Corbin, Kentucky, went to be with his Heavenly Father on October 24, 2026, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Charles was born in Corbin on July 10, 1942.

He raised his family and was an agent for Nationwide Insurance for nearly 4 decades in Louisville, KY. He married his high school sweetheart, and they had 36 years together. They were snowbirds to their winter home in Cape Coral, FL, affectionately known as Cape Corbin to the family and friends who would visit or lived there. He loved the Lord and attended Poplar Grove Baptist Church and was also a member of Highview Baptist Church in Louisville, where he enjoyed singing in the choir. He was an avid fan of the University of Kentucky Wildcats and was also a long-time fan of the Cincinnati Reds. He loved music and the beach, both of passions he passed on to his daughters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles C. Webb and Edna Goodin Webb; the mother of his children, Joan G. Webb; and his brother-in-law, Jim Cobb; and his beloved wife, Patsy Lloyd Webb, all originally from Corbin.

He is survived by his Children; DeAnn Webb (Eric), Cynthia Garrett (Jason), Donna Walker and Jimmy Walker (CIndy); Grandchildren; Holly Helm (David), Kayla Dafler, Rachael Bryant (Trenton), Brianna Lawrence, Autumn Houpt (Travis), Jillian Garrett, Emily Garrett, Gabriel Garrett, Stephanie Hamblin (Chase), Jackie Faulkner (Jeremiah). Great Grandchildren; Jenson Helm, Elena Bryant, Charlee Ford, Daisy Houpt, Violet Houpt, Lucas Moses, Gunner Faulkner, Annalee Faulkner, Liam Hamblin; and by his sister, Fredina W. Cobb.

Charles will be remembered as a loving husband and father to his family.

Visitation for Charles Webb will be held from 12noon until 2pm on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. His funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating.

Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky. Serving as pall bearers will be Eric Broerman, Danny Steely, Brandon Baker, Jimmy Walker, Dave Helm, Paul Norton, Jason Garrett, and Eric Keplinger. Those being observed as honorary pall bearers are Bill Partin, Mark Norton, Trenton Bryant, Gabriel Garrett, Ryan Glass, and Aiden Kouri
