Charles Michael 'Mike' Mcdaniel

Charles "Mike" Michael McDaniel, 64, of Corbin, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Baptist Health Corbin. Mike loved sports, especially UK Wildcats, Cincinnati Reds, and the Green Bay Packers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell William McDaniel and Vivian Black McDaniel; and brothers, Johnny McDaniel and William Teddy McDaniel. He is survived by his wife, Vickie McDaniel; son, Thomas McDaniel (Whitney); two grandchildren, Isabella McDaniel and Lylah McDaniel; brothers, Bobby McDaniel (Donna), and Gary McDaniel (Brenda); sister, Lynnette Wages (Marshall); and by several nieces, nephews, family, and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, November 5, 2020, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating. Burial will be in the Black Cemetery at Gray, KY. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until the funeral at 2:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Due to COVID-19, those in attendance must socially distance and wear a mask.
