Charles Cox

Charles Cox, of Corbin, passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2007 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington.
Born in Corbin, he was the son of the late Haiz Cox and Irene White Cox. He attended Central Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Junior Cox.
He is survived by two brothers, Rondal Cox and Sherman Cox; one sister, Arizona Slone; five nephews, Harry Slone, Walter Slone, Charlie Slone, Roy Slone and Jimmy Cox; four nieces, Cathy Brasher, Carolyn Wilkey, Zelda Parson and Beatrice Gasparette.
Funeral services will be at 11 am Thursday, August 9, 2007 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hart Cemetery in South Corbin.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Wednesday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
