Cecil Janet Ramsey

Cecil Janet Ramsey; age 85 of Corbin, passed away on Tuesday December 27, 2016 at Baptist Health in Corbin.
She was born in Corbin and was a 1948 graduate of Corbin High School. After high school she worked for Bell Telephone Co. in Corbin and for many years worked as a receptionist at Cumberland Comprehensive Care in Corbin. She was a former member of the Eastern Star and a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority.
Janet is survived by her Children; Allen Ramsey of Corbin, and Mary Jane Ramsey of Spring Hill, TN; and by a Brother, Lonnie Rudy Carroll of Corbin.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Maurice Ramsey; Father, Sam Cecil Carroll; Mother, Daymie Poyntor Carroll Sawyers, and by her Step Father, Henry Sawyers.
Funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday December 30, 2016 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
