Carl Wesley Wells

Carl Wesley Wells, 87, of Corbin and formerly of Ohio passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Lexington, KY.
Born in Corbin, he was a son of the late Clarence and Grace Decker Wells.  He was a US Army veteran of Korea, and had been a food service worker at Miami (Ohio) University.
In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his wife Betty Jean Creech Wells, a brother Gary David Wells, and sister Lois Jean Cole.
He is survived by four children: Jeffrey David Wells, Kathleen Sue Watkins, James William Wells, and Daniel Edgar Wells;  nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren;  and a brother Roy Lee Wells.
A graveside service will be conducted at 12 noon Saturday at Worley Cemetery with Bro. Andrew Darden officiating.  There will be no public visitation.
