Brenda Kay Hart-Hinkle

Brenda Kay Hart-Hinkle, age 65, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Baptist Health Corbin.

Born in Cincinnati, OH, she was the daughter of the late Willard Gleen Hart and Gladys Virginia Rogers. Brenda worked for 30 years as a shift leader at Firestone Industrial Products in Williamsburg, KY, a job she truly loved until her retirement.

Brenda was a woman of many talents and interests. She enjoyed staying busy, especially after retirement, and was always willing to pick up a new hobby. She loved photography, sewing, scrapbooking, and yoga. She was a gifted artist and a wonderful cook, though she still enjoyed attending cooking classes and learning something new. Brenda also enjoyed camping and cherished the time she spent with her husband, children, grandchildren, and extended family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lois Anne Hart.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bruce Hinkle; daughter, Chasty Waldo and husband Bobby; son, Herman Canada and wife Jody; brothers, Troy Hart and Terry Hart; grandchildren, Dakota Whitaker, Skylar Whitaker, Summer Meadows, Elijah Waldo, Jason Barger, Nathan Abner, Alex Canada, Ariana Abner, and Herman Canada III; special niece, Ashley Hart; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends who will cherish her memory.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Ralph Rogers officiating. 

Burial will follow at Corinth Cemetery in Corbin, KY.

Pallbearers will be Joey Hall, Keith Hinkle, Brandon Hinkle, Dakota Whitaker, Skylar Whitaker, Herman Canada III, and Nathan Abner.
