Brenda Lee LeForce Blue, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Baptist Health Corbin.
She was born on May 4, 1961, to the late Bill and Martha Lee LeForce. Brenda was a woman known for her big heart and nurturing spirit. She was a mother and a “Mamaw” not only to her family but to anyone who needed one. Her love, care, and generosity reached far beyond bloodlines, and she leaves behind a legacy of kindness and devotion to those she loved.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kim Blue; brothers, William LeForce, Alriss LeForce, and Billy Charles LeForce; and sister, Wilda Lee Morgan.
She is survived by her daughters, Joy Blue-Smith (Sherman) of Woodbine, KY, Krystal Miller (Justin) of Indiana, and China Watson (Joseph) of Corbin, KY; son, Tony McVicar of Woodbine, KY; sister, Melissa Warren of Corbin, KY; brothers, Duke LeForce (Jenn) of Corbin, KY and Hank LeForce of Corbin, KY; bonus sister, Michelle Hensley of Corbin, KY; grandchildren, Bryan Blue (Destiny), Seth Smith (Angel), and Devan Smith, all of Corbin, KY; Kodey Smith (Amanda) of Indiana; James Epperson of Pineville; Hannah Miller and Denver Miller of Indiana; Kimberlyn Earls of Corbin, KY; Teresa Watson of Corbin, KY; and Billie Lovitt (Toby) of Corbin, KY.
She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Hope, Isabella, Elizabeth, and Elias Blue, all of Corbin, KY; Caleb Smith and Madelyn Smith of Corbin, KY; and Samuel Lovitt of Corbin, KY; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 12-2 pm on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will follow at 2 pm with Rev. Daniel Terrell officiating.
Burial will follow at McFarland Cemetery at Cedar Gap, KY.
In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations to assist with expenses. Donations may be made online by selecting the “Donate Now” icon, in person at the funeral home, or by calling the funeral home directly. All donations will go toward assisting with expenses, and the family will receive a list of donors.
