Brenda Sue Alsip, age 79, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at her home.

Born in Harlan, KY, she was the daughter of the late Martha and Roy Veach.

Brenda was known for her vibrant spirit and the joy she brought to every gathering. She loved spending her evenings on the porch, listening to music, and enjoying the company of family and friends gathered around her. She loved dancing, traveling, and making memories wherever she went. Her laughter, warmth, and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ray Alsip.

She is survived by her son, Layton, and his wife, Sherry Champlin of Corbin; grandchildren, Savannah Champlin of Corbin, Heath and Halie Callihan of Georgia, Erica and Brent Ward of Annville, and Jake and Hannah Naegele of Annville; as well as several great-grandchildren who brought her much joy. She is also survived by her sister, Joyce Grant; her brother, George Veach; and her special niece, Tonia Kraus.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 3, 2025, at Felts Chapel Cemetery in Corbin, KY, with David Moore officiating.
