Bonnie Louise Scalf

Bonnie Louise Abrams Scalf, age 70, of Rockholds, KY, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at her home.

Born in Corbin, KY, she was the daughter of the late Emmett Abrams and Louise Storms Hicks. Bonnie was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister who cherished her family and the time spent together. Her quiet strength, caring heart, and love for those closest to her will be remembered always.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Scalf, and her son, Leroy Scalf, Jr.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Scalf and Melissa Mason; grandchildren, Stephanie McNew, Melissa McNew, Christian McNew, Foister McNew, Justin Mason, and Courtney Mason; five great-grandchildren; a very special sister, Shirley Brewster and husband, Chuck; siblings, Linda Mays and Joann Meinhart; special sister-in-law, Kathy Rickett; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will dearly miss her.

Arrangements are pending at this time and will be announced when finalized.

In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations to assist with expenses.
