Billy G. "Big Eye" Hughes, age 84, of Bedford, KY passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016.
He was the husband of Ruth McDonald Hughes, and father of Vicki Whitaker, Joseph Hughes, and the late Gregory Hughes. He was the brother of Opal Wagers of Corbin.
Billy was predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Maggie Hughes, and brothers Joe, Ben, Tommy, and Elmer Hughes.
His funeral will be 10 am Tuesday at the Bedford Christian Church. A graveside service will be held at 4 pm Tuesday at Pine Hill Cemetery, Corbin.
Visitation will be at the Church 5-8 pm Monday and 9-10 am Tuesday.
Memorials are suggested to the Kosair Childrens' Hospital Foundation.
