Beverly (Gamble) Wehder, age 64, passed away on August 16, 2026, in Corbin, Kentucky. She was born on November 24, 1961, in Hazard, Kentucky, to the late Albert and Dora (Baker) Gamble.
Beverly was a devoted wife and mother whose gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. She was known for being loving, friendly, and kind, and she carried those qualities with her throughout her life.
Beverly was a Christian and was of the Baptist faith. Her faith was an important part of who she was, and it guided her through life with strength and grace. She found comfort in her beliefs and lived in a way that reflected the values she held dear.
She was also an avid University of Kentucky fan, and she enjoyed supporting her team with enthusiasm and pride. This interest brought her joy and was one of the many ways she connected with those around her. Whether spending time with family, sharing conversation, or cheering on the Wildcats, Beverly did so with sincerity and heart.
Beverly was the beloved wife of Robert Kyle Wehder. She is also survived by her brothers, Billy (Glenna) Gamble and Albert (Flo) Gamble Jr.
In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her daughter, Dr. Haley Wehder; her brother, Walter Gamble; her sisters, Betty Goins and Mary Collett. The loss of these loved ones was deeply felt in her life, and she carried their memory with her always.
Visitation will be held at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, 607 Master Street, Corbin, Kentucky 40701, on Friday, August 21st, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, followed by the funeral, at the same location, starting at 3:00 pm.
A graveside service will take place at the St. Joe Hill Cemetery, 2605 West St. Joe Road, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172, on Saturday, August 22nd, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, Beverly's family requests that donations be made in her honor to either, The Hope Center or the Dr. Haley Wehder Memorial Fund.
