Baltie Howard Porterfield

Baltie Howard Porterfield, 88, of Corbin, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2005 at Baptist Regional Medical Center.
Born July 15, 1917 in Laurel County, she was the daughter of the late Ben and Ciller Lewis Howard. Mrs. Porterfield was a homemaker and a member of the Corinth Baptist Church in London.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Harold Porterfield, and by three sisters, Hally Turner, Mattie Cantor, and Virginia Kenny. She is survived by numerous family and friends who mourn her passing.
Graveside services will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, October 29, 2005 at the A.R. Dyche Cemetery in London.
There will be no visitation.
The family of Mrs. Baltie Porterfield has entrusted the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with all arrangements.
