Archie Holland, Jr.

Archie Holland, Jr., 89, of Corbin, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2008, at Baptist Regional Medical Center.
A son of the late Archie T. Holland Sr. and Frances Johnson Holland, he had worked for the L & N Railroad and was Baptist by faith. Archie was a strong supporter of veterans, their wives, and of veterans affairs causes.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Euna Holland; and his brother, Richard Holland.
He is survived by his wife Helen; son, Don Holland; daughters, Beverly Hodorowski and Jeannette DiLorenzo; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Friday, Oct. 3, 2008, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm Friday at the funeral home.
