Alex Brock Jr.

Alex Brock Jr., age 82, was born on November 14, 1943, in Leslie County, Kentucky, and

passed away on Friday morning, April 10, 2026, at his home in Corbin, Kentucky.

Alex was a devout and dedicated man, not only in his personal life but in his professional life as well. He was the operator of A & B Vinyl Siding, where he was the owner and installer. His meticulous and dedicated work ethic was a testament to his character. A man of faith, he pastored several churches and served as an Evangelist, touching countless lives and leading many towards the path of righteousness. He had a unique way of infusing his everyday life with his faith, making him an inspiration to all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex Brock Sr., and Lillie Ethel Hall Brock; brothers, Jimmy Brock and Felix Brock; and by a sister, Fannie Katherine Collette.

Alex is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Kathleen Brock; daughters, Patty Jo Brock and Tamara Jean Jones (Doug); brothers, George Alexander Brock and Walter D. Brock (Renee); sisters, Linda May Morgan (Ralph), Shelby Jean Nolan, and Carolyn Sue Brock; grandchildren, Ash, Kayla, and Robert; and by several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and by many friends.

Visitation will be held from 12noon until 2 PM on Tuesday April 14, 2026, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeal Home. His funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday at the Vankirk-Grisell Home, with Rev. Mark Adams officiating.
