Shirley Dianne King-Jones Britton, born November 28, 1955, received her wings on February 6, 2011.
Family members that were awaiting her arrival are: Parents, Marvin and Alice King; Sister, Patty Rose Thompson; and Brother, Drewey King.
Family continuing to love and miss her are: Daughters, Stephanie and Stacy; Grandchildren, Lauren, Gage and Mayah; Brothers, James, Steve, Marvin Jr., and Darin; and Sisters, Sharon, Victoria, and Robyn. Shirley also leaves behind the "Love of Her Life" Jim Britton and family, with special mention of Dylan and Chelsea.
Friends and family are invited to gather from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home at 607 Master Street, Corbin, KY.
Funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
Shirley will be escorted to her final resting place immediately after at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, Kentucky.
