Sherry Renee Causey

January 10, 1965 — November 8, 2004

Sherry Renee Causey, 39, of Woodbine, passed away on Monday, Nov. 8, 2004 at the University of Tennesse Hospital in Knoxville as the result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
Born January 10, 1965 in Illinois, she was the daughter of James Rodney Pence and Carolyn Sue Kilburn. Sherry had worked several years as an LPN, but was currently a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband Donald Causey of Woodbine; six children, Kristy Alsip & husband Rick of Corbin, Jennifer Cox & husband Dustin of Hazard, and Vanessa, D.J., Autumn and Nicholas Causey, all of Corbin; her parents, James Pence of Viper and Carolyn Sue Kilburn of Viper; her mother-in-law, Hazel Causey of Slemp, Kentucky; her sister, Pamela Asher & husband Sherman of Hazard; three brothers, David Pence of Hazard, Marke Pence & wife Michelle of Hazard, and J.J. Pence of Pennsylvania; grandparents, Ed Kilburn and Jewell Pence of Viper; four grandchildren, Cameron and Jaiden Alsip and Skyler and Brooke Cox; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends who mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, Nov. 12, 2004 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Bro. Karl Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
