Shannon Steely

Shannon Steely, age 35, of Woodbine, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2011, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Born in Hamilton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Truman Steely and Rosalee Hensley Steely. She worked for Home Health Care. She is survived by her children, Michael, Michelle, Austin, Bradley and Eric Caldwell; 17 nieces and nephews; brothers, David Steely, Victor Jacobs and Tony Steely; and sisters, Tonya Proffitt and husband Mike, Lisa Steely and Michelle Steely, all who mourn her passing. Funeral service will be at 1pm on Thursday, Sept. 8, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Wayne Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in the Corn Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David and Lee Steely, Wendell and Tristan Moore, Scott Moore, and Larry Proffitt.
