Ruth Philpot

Ruth Philpot, age 77, of Corbin, passed away Friday November 14, 2003 at home.
She was a homemaker and member of the Eastside Tabernacle Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Lee Philpot; a Son Earl Philpot; One Grandson Ronnie Brockman; a Sister, Glessie Cupp; and two Brothers, Orbin McGeorge and Jack McGeorge.
She is survived by one Daughter, Deloris Brockman and her husband Larry of Corbin; one Son, Bobby Philpot and his wife Kay of Corbin; Six Grandchildren: Rick Philpot and Michelle Philpot of Spendora, TX, Jeff Taylor and his wife Sheila, Crystal Faulkner and her husband Kevin,  Kim Sevier and her husband Jeff, and Becky Bullard and her husband Larry, all of Corbin. She is also survived by Seven Great Grandchildren ; three Brothers, Bill and Marvin McGeorge of Pineville and Newt McGeorge of Middlesboro; four Sisters, Phyllis Messer of Indianapolis, Elsie Phipps and Mary Hobbs of Pineville, and Elizabeth Hayes of Dayton, OH.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2003 at 2:00pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Randall Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 6-9pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
