Ruth Dixon Johnson

Ruth Dixon Johnson, age 81, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on Saturday November 14, 2015 at St. Francis Health in Indianapolis.
She was born in Knox County, Kentucky daughter of the late Damon and Ella Smith Dixon. Ruth was a member of the Gospel Assembly of the Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, Richard Johnson; Sons, Robbie and Ricky Johnson; Brothers, Wayne Dixon and Kenneth Dixon; Sisters, Jewell Tuggle and husband H.B., Ruby Rose and husband Orville, daughters-in-law, Katrina Dixon and Patricia Dixon; Son-in-law, James Blankenship, and by a great granddaughter, Jonnae Taylor
Ruth is survived by her Children, Denny Dixon, Terry Dixon and wife Barb, Tammie Johnson and fiancé Terry Roach, Sherry Taylor and husband Larry; 20 grandchildren including granddaughter, Tara Johnson and her fiancé David Hughes; 51 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; Sister, Earlene Engle and husband Harvey; sister-in-law, Bonnie Dixon; former daughter-in-law, Alyson Castle; and by host of nieces and nephews who will all mourn her passing.
Funeral service for Ruth Johnson will be held at 2pm on Thursday November 19, 2015 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Pastor Rodney Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in the Dugger Cemetery in Knox County, Kentucky.
