Norman Garland

Norman Garland, age 58, of Corbin, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010, at his home.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Marion and Dora Garland; Sister, Shirley Patterson; Brothers, James Allen and Perry Garland.
He is survived by three Daughters, Jennifer Sullivan and husband Shannon of Williamsburg, Melanie Wells and husband Douglas Saylor of Corbin, Gwynndolin Brookshire and husband Jeremy of Calhoun, GA; Grandchildren, Bradley Wells, Alexandria Sullivan, Chance and Chase Banning; Brothers, Bev, Dewayne, and Darrell Garland; Sisters, Margie Akins, Beverly Honeycutt, Dora Garland, and Etta Sue Goley; Special Friends, Patricia Banning and Shonda Banning.
Funeral service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Jack Elliott Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-9pm on Tuesday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations to help with funeral expenses be made directly to the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
