Nola Virginia Woodlee

Nola V. Woodlee, age 89, of Corbin, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2012, at The Heritage.
Born in Corbin, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Nannie Johnson Skeen. She had worked as a nurse at the Southeast Kentucky Baptist Hospital and was a member of the Central Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Woodlee; sons, Ewell and Gary Hill; step-sons, Charles and Larry Woodlee; and by eight brothers.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Taylor and husband Charles of London; son, Shawn Hill and wife Ruth of Lexington; two step-sons, Don Woodlee and wife Della and Bob Woodlee and wife Faye; step-daughter, Jane Hedrick and husband Russell; brother, Bobby Skeen and wife Wilma; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends who mourn her passing.
Visitation will be from 2pm Thursday, April 5, until the time of the funeral at 4pm at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Taylor and Rev. Paula Farmer officiating.
Burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery.
