Mary Elizabeth Burt

Mary Elizabeth Burt, age 73, of Jefferson, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, in Jefferson, Georgia.
Born in Corbin, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Nancy Ponder Roark. She was Baptist by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Della Roark.
She is survived by her husband, Larry P. Burt; and by eight children: Billy Darling and wife Judy, Sonja Darling, Teresa Greene and husband Howard, Jimmy Darling, Gerald Burt, Patrice Herrington and husband Sherman, Renee Smith and husband Joe, and Lisa Grizzel and husband Brian, all who mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be at 11am Saturday, Nov. 19, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Ovie Allen Spurlock officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm on Friday, Nov. 18, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, 607 Master Street, Corbin, KY.
