Marvin Edward Hubbard, 71, of Corbin, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at UK Medical Center in Lexington.
Born in Knox County, he was a son of the late Edd and Lola Mae Gray Hubbard. A brother Randall Hubbard also preceded him in death.
Marvin received degrees in biology and accounting from Union College. He served 6 years in the Kentucky National Guard. He enjoyed wildlife and being outdoors - fishing, hunting, landscaping and other outside work. He cherished time spent with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife Joyce Hubbard; two daughters and their husbands: Robin and Brad Ingle of Corbin, and Amy and Brent Anderson of Lexington; six grandchildren: Lindsay, Christopher, Katie and Brenna Ingle, Ethan and Emma Anderson.
Visitation will begin at 6:00pm Friday at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. His funeral will follow at 7:30pm with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30am Saturday at the Barbourville City Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be close friends Kenneth Cobb, Fredie Davis, Eddie Beddow, Donnie Beddow, Don Byrd, Troy Foley, Lyle Hammons and Larry Hammons.
