Marjorie Elizabeth Parmon Nantz, 80,  of Corbin, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Christian Care Community.
Born in Corbin, she was the eldest daughter of the late Marcus and Minnie Rapier Adams. Marjorie was a homemaker and  Baptist by faith. She enjoyed painting, crocheting, among other craft work, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Edward "T-Bud" Parmon; two sons, Donald and Ronald Britton; and three brothers: Jack, Harold, and Jerry Adams.
Marjorie is survived by three children: Rhonda Brock (J.B.), Mark Parmon, and Joseph Parmon (Teresa); nine grandchildren: Chris Britton and Michael Britton, Amy Martin (Charlie), Cassie Britton, Justin and Dalton Brock, Bradyn Parmon, Kandis Taylor (Kevin), and Tara Scharf (Kenton); several great-grandchildren; three sisters: Jill Coffey, Beverly Hammons, and Ruth Ann Newberry; and by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 28, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Cole officiating. Burial will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations are suggested to Laurel Lake Baptist Camp.
