Leslie Pennington

Leslie Cleland Pennington, 91, of Corbin, passed away Monday, September 29, 2003 at Corbin Nursing Home. He was a retired office worker for Falcon Coal Company. He was also a 32nd Degree Mason of the Hugh Harris Lodge and the Olieka Shriners Temple.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Mollie Baird Pennington; his wife, Dessie Angel Pennington; two brothers, Alonzo and Lillard Pennington; and three sisters, Della Pennington Frazier, Lena Pennington Black, and Flora Pennington Smith.
He is survived by two sisters, Geneva Pennington Lloyd and Edith Pennington Bourge; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral services are at 2 pm Wednesday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating. Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery in Whitley County.
Masonic services are 7:30 pm Tuesday with friends being received from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
