Juanita Frost Woolum, age 72 of Corbin, went to be with the Lord at her home on Thursday, May 22, 2014.
Juanita was employed for many years by the former Yeary's Restaurant in Corbin and by the Knox County Board of Education. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Corbin.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Chester Woolum Jr., Father, James Frost by her Mother, Viola Smith Black.
Juanita is survived by her Daughters, Diana D. Jordan of Corbin, and Linda Jackson and husband Larry of Corbin; Grandchildren, Justin R. Bryant of Corbin and Brittney N. Frederick and husband Brian of Heidrick; Great Grandchildren, Kamila S. Belew and Charis F. Frederick; Brother, Homer Frost of North Carolina; Sister, Marie Puckett of Corbin; great Aunt, Goldie Deaton of Barbourville; a very dear life long friend, Marjorie Hammons Tucker of Corbin, and by a host of friends and family that mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Bro. Claude Medlin and Bro. Dennis McCoy officiating. Burial will follow in the Betty Frost Cemetery in Knox County.
Visitation will be from 6-9pm on Saturday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home in Corbin where messages may be written to the family at www.vankirkgrisellfuneralhome.com
