Jimmie R. Miller

Jimmie R. Miller, 75, of Gray, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 3, 2015.
Born in Alva, Kentucky, he was the son of the late George W. Miller and Allie Engle Miller. He was a retired CSX employee and was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Cumberland Masonic Lodge and was a U.S. Army veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Jerry Miller; brothers William "Bill" Miller and A.C. Miller; and sister Janet Belew.
He is survived by his wife Irene Miller; children Darlene Miracle (Lennie), Tobey Miller (Angie), Bridgette Fore (Mike), and Jennifer Miller (Rickie Golden); 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters Genevieve Bargo (Kenneth) and Mary Jones (Larry); and several nieces, nephews, family and friends who mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be held at 3pm on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at the Blessed Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Logan officiating. Burial will be in the Candle Ridge Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12-3 pm on Thursday at Blessed Hope Baptist Church.
