James "Tunney" F. Hamlin

James F. "Tunney" Hamlin, age 85 of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday December 27, 2017 at Baptist Health in Corbin.
He was the Owner-Operator of the former Hamlin Supermarket in Corbin.  Tunney was a Founding and Charter member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Corbin and a US Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Ona and Belva Hamlin; and by his Mother, Rhoda Hamlin.
Tunney is survived by his Wife, Pat Hamlin; Children; Sharon Owens, TIna Kersey and husband Andy; Barry Hamlin and wife Annette; Grandchildren; Kristy Griggs (Jake), Heather Hart (Tyler), Laura Rudolph (Mike), Adria Thompson (Kody), Alisha Hail (Chase), Katie Hamlin, Lauren Hamlin, and Michael Hamlin; Great Grandchildren; Emma, Zac, Owen, and Eli
Celebration of life service for James F. "Tunney" Hamlin will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday December 30, 2017 at Immanuel Baptist Church  with Rev. Allen Bonnell officiating.
Burial will follow in the Worley Cemetery in Corbin with military honors by the Keavy DAV.
Visitation will be from 12noon until 2pm at the Church.
