James O. Scalf, age 63 of Corbin, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; two Brothers, and a Sister.
He is survived by his wife Cora Scalf whom he married March 30, 1966; Children, James Scalf Jr, Henry T. Scalf, Danny Howard Scalf, and Wanda Lynn Scalf; Siblings, Bert, Minnie, Henderson, Cordie, Pam, Lucy, Evelyn, Willis Jr. and Arthur; Grandchildren, Jacob Dawson Scalf and James Thomas Scalf; Step-grandchild, Lorraina Jene Gabbard; numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Corinth Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-9pm on Monday, March 28th, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, 607 Master St., Corbin.
