James 'J.D.' Gregory

James "J.D" Gregory, age 75, of Corbin, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2010, at Oak Tree Hospital in Corbin.
He was retired from L&N and CSX Railroad and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Corbin.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, James and Minnie Cress Gregory, and by a Brother-in-law, Curtis Russell.
He is survived by his Wife, Sylvia Saylor Gregory; Two Daughters, Debbie Gibbs and husband Terry of Corbin, and Marva "Marty" Gregory of Independence, KY; two Grandchildren, Lindsey Goins of Bowling Green and Chris Goins of Corbin; three Sisters, Kila Gregory and Ola Russell of Jonesville, VA,  Shirley Ward and husband Clifford of Columbia SC; Several Brothers-in-law and Sisters-in-law; as well as, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends who will mourn his passing.
Visitation will be on Monday, October 25, 2010, from 12noon until the time of his funeral service at 2pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Bonnell officiating. Burial will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Corbin.
