James D. Presley

James D. Presley, age 82, of Corbin, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
Born in Corbin, he was the son of the late Edgar D. Presley and Mabel Olive Bolton Presley. He was a retired truck driver for Branch Motor Express and a member of the Quarry Masonic Lodge #382 in Berea, Ohio. James was a U.S. Army veteran serving during WWII and joined the Marines after his service in the Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Jean Scalf Presley.
He is survived by five children: Mike Presley and wife Ann of Strongsville, Ohio; Ricky Wayne Presley of London, Kentucky; James P. Presley and wife Angela of Middlesburg Hts., Ohio; Bruce A. Presley and wife Kerry of Beloit, Ohio; and Karen Sue Siko and husband Dan of Wadsworth, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren, all who mourn his passing.
There will be no visitation or funeral service.
