Ireda J. Augusta, 92, of Valparaiso formerly of Harlan, KY, passed on Tuesday, December 28, 2010.
She was born in Benham, KY, to Delbert Thomas and Louise (Bryant) Thomas Littrell. Ireda graduated from high school in 1936. She strongly believed in the Baptist faith.
In 1938 in Kentucky, Ireda married Foster Potts who preceded her in death in 1946. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kelly Denise Crider.
She is survived by daughter Patricia (Frank) Crider of Kouts, IN, grandson, F. Darrell (Kris) Crider Jr. and 3 great-grandchildren: Danny, Jesse and Josie.
Graveside service will be held at 11am on Friday, December 31, 2010 at the Pine Hill Cemetery with Rev. David Chandler officiating.
