Freida Doris Bartley

Freida Doris Bartley, age 69, of Clinton, died Friday, February 20, 2004 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN.
She was born on October 6, 1934 at Rock Creek, Kentucky to Jeff and Reba Stephens Anderson. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Clinton, and a former member of the Glenwood Baptist Church in Oak Ridge where she sang in the choir. She was an avid golfer and longtime member and officer of the South Hills Women's Golf Association, and of the Oak Ridge Women's Club.
She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Bartley of Clinton; a son, Stewart Bartley and his wife Christina of Alexandria, VA; Three sisters, Thelma Wright of Inverness, Fl, Wilma Neal and husband Cecil of Pine Knot, and Betty Lawson and husband Robert of Stearns; Grandchildren, Erik and Emma Bartley; and Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral service will be on Monday at 8pm at the Weatherford Mortuary in Oak Ridge, TN, with Rev. Herbert Lee and Rev. Terry Baker Officiating.
Graveside services will be at 1pm on Tuesday at the Calvary Cemetery in Gray, Kentucky.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Family Life Center Fund, First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 268, Clinton, TN 37717.
Local arrangements and obituary notices are by the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home in Corbin, KY.
