Charles E. Walters

Charles E. Walters, age 90, of Woodbine, passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2012, at Baptist Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Whitley County to the late Luke and Otie Bays Walters. He had been a bus driver for the Corbin City Schools, was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and a U.S. Army veteran of WWII.
Charles is survived by his wife, June Shell Walters.
Funeral service will be at 11am Wednesday, July 4th, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Roach officiating. Burial will be in the Cumberland Memorial Gardens with graveside military honors by the American Legion Fonzie Wilder Post 88.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Tuesday, July 3, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, 607 Master Street, Corbin, KY.
