Carl J. Jones

Carl J. Jones, age 77, of Corbin, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2012, at Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation.
Born in Whitley County, he was the son of the late Fred C. and Lola McCreary Jones. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Carl is survived by his siblings: sister, Thelma Jones, sister, Wilma Alsip and sister, Phyllis Shumate, all of Corbin, brother, Fred Jones of Lily, sister, Faye Burke of Woodbine, and sister, Judy Jenkins of Corbin; and a host of nieces and nephews, all who mourn his passing.
A private graveside service will be held at Corinth Cemetery on Saturday, Jan. 21.
The Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, 607 Master Street, Corbin, KY is handling arrangements.
