Tim Helton was born, raised, and now lives an active life in Corbin, KY. Tim works part-time at the funeral home as a funeral assistant. He is married to Michelle R. Helton and they have two sons, Timothy Shawn Helton and Zachariah Braeden Helton.

In addition to his work at the funeral home, Tim is a Captain with the Corbin Police Department with over 18 years of service to the citizens of Corbin. He is currently assigned to Investigations and serves as the chief investigator of criminal activity and is one of the four detectives assigned to the Whitley County Major Crime Task Force.

Tim is a Past Master of Hugh Harris Lodge 938 F & AM and currently is the Lodge Secretary. He has also served as the District Deputy Grand Master for District 36 for the Grand Lodge of Kentucky F & AM for the year 2002-2003. He is also a photographer with the business of Photos by Tim, Corbin, KY.

Tim is a trustee and music director of Good Hope Baptist Church located at 16th and Elm Streets in Corbin.
